Head Coach of Solution FC, Awka, Gabriel Ezema, has exclusively told Completesports.com that the club’s dream of finishing in the top two of the Nigeria National League Conference B table is no longer in their hands.
Ezema spoke to Completesports.com on Monday morning following his team’s Matchday 17 2-2 draw with Gateway United at Awka City Stadium on Sunday.
Solution FC were 2-0 up in the first half with goals from Romanus Chinonso (25′) and Chukwuemeka Oyieke (45′).

However, Gateway United turned things around in the second half, equalising through goals from Taofeek Babatunde (59′) and Samuel Christian (72′).
The result left Solution FC in 5th position on the NNL table with 25 points, with three fixtures remaining.
Ezema admitted that wastefulness in front of goal by his attackers let the team down.
“You wouldn’t believe that we missed several unpardonable chances, including one inside the two-yard box,” Ezema lamented.

“Right now, there are three matches left. We’ll travel to play First Bank of Lagos this weekend. But whether we can still make it into the top two and secure a place in the Super 8 Playoffs is no longer in our hands.
“We’ll just keep working hard, do our best in the remaining matches, and see what happens in the other games,” Ezema explained.
