Egyptian mixed martial arts manager, Ali Ibrahim Abdelaziz has disclosed that Kamaru Usman deserves to challenge Islam Makhachev in the UFC welterweight title.
Makhachev competes in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current UFC Welterweight Champion and former UFC Lightweight Champion.

Speaking with MMA Junkie, Abdelaziz stated that Ian Garry, who is second in the UFC welterweight rankings, has not done enough in the last couple of years compared to Usman.
“Kamaru Usman has done a lot of things for this company. I will campaign for him to get a title fight… What the f*** has Ian Garry done the last couple of years?
“Kamaru Usman is a legend… he was offered Shavkat last November, Kamaru accepted the fight. Kamaru Usman is one of the biggest names in the division. When you’re Islam Makhachev, you want to have legacy on your name.”
