Super Falcons forward Chioma Okafor is set to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations due to injury, Completesports.com reports.
Okafor is currently nursing a hand injury, and is expected to be out of action for up to 12 days.
The 20-year-old was a surprise inclusion in the Super Falcons squad to the WAFCON 2024 finals.
The University of Connecticut forward was eligible to represent Nigeria, and Malawi.

The striker was born to Nigerian father, and Malawian mother.
She however opted to represent Nigeria on the eve of the competition.
Okafor is yet to make an appearance for Nigeria in Morocco.
The Super Falcons will face the Copper Queens of Zambia in a semi-final encounter at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca on Friday (today).
