American tennis player Sloane Stephens and husband Jozy Altidore have ended their four-year marriage.
Stephens announced the news on social media Saturday, highlighting the personal nature of the separation and requesting privacy.
In her Instagram stories, she explained that the split is being handled respectfully and calmly.
“Jozy and I have decided to end our marriage,” the post read.

Sloane and Jozy are childhood friends from Florida, and were married on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2022.
In 2017, Sloane won her first Grand Slam title at the US Open after defeating her friend Madison Keys.
